Refund policy
1. 30-Day Money Back Guarantee (Drippy Grippy Promise)
At Drippy Grippy, we back our products with a 30-Day Money Back Guarantee.
If you change your mind within 30 days of receiving your order, you may return your socks for a refund provided that:
- The socks are unworn
- They are in original packaging
- They are in resaleable condition
- They have not been washed or used in sport
Due to hygiene reasons, worn socks are not eligible for return under this guarantee.
Refunds Under the 30-Day Guarantee
- If returned within the first 14 days, you will receive a refund of:
- The full product price
- The standard delivery cost paid at checkout
- If returned between days 15 and 30:
- You will receive a refund of the product price only
- Original delivery costs are non-refundable
Return postage costs for non-fault returns (e.g. incorrect size selected, change of mind) are the responsibility of the customer.
This 30-Day Money Back Guarantee is offered in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
2. Your Legal Right to Cancel (14 Days)
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods for any reason.
To exercise this right:
- You must notify us within 14 days of delivery
- Items must be returned within 14 days of notifying us
- Items must be unworn and in resaleable condition
If you cancel within this statutory period and the items meet the above conditions:
- We will refund the full product price
- We will refund the standard delivery cost paid at checkout
- Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
Because socks are hygiene-sensitive goods, worn socks cannot be returned unless faulty.
3. Exchanges (Size or Colour Changes)
If you ordered the wrong size or colour:
Items must be unworn and in original packaging
You are responsible for the return postage
Once received and inspected, we will issue:
- A replacement item, or
- Store credit (if preferred)
If the requested replacement is no longer available, store credit will be issued.
4. Faulty or Damaged Products
We take product quality seriously. If your socks arrive damaged or with a manufacturing defect, please contact us within 30 days of delivery.
What We Require:
- Clear photographs showing the issue
- Your order number
- A brief explanation of the fault
In clear cases of manufacturing defect:
- We will provide a replacement free of charge
- You will not be required to return the item
- We will cover any associated shipping costs
If the issue requires further inspection, we may request the item be returned for assessment. In these cases, we will cover reasonable return shipping costs.
5. Fault Claims After 30 Days
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, customers have up to 6 months to raise concerns where a product was faulty at the time of delivery.
For claims made between 30 days and 6 months:
- Customers must provide clear evidence that the fault was present upon arrival
- Items must not show signs of wear inconsistent with normal inspection
- We may require the item to be returned for assessment
If the fault is confirmed as a manufacturing issue, we will provide a replacement or appropriate remedy.
Normal wear and tear, misuse, accidental damage, or damage caused by improper care will not be considered manufacturing faults.
6. Hygiene Policy (Important)
For hygiene and safety reasons:
Worn socks cannot be returned or refunded unless they are faulty.
Socks that have been tried on, washed, or used in sporting activity are not eligible for return unless a verified manufacturing defect is present.
This does not affect your statutory rights regarding faulty goods.
7. Sale Items
Sale items are treated slightly differently:
If faulty upon arrival, they are eligible for refund or replacement.
If returned for non-fault reasons (e.g. wrong size), they are eligible for:
- Store credit only, or
- Like-for-like exchange (subject to availability)
If the sale item is no longer available, store credit will be issued.

9. Refund Processing
Once your return is received and inspected:
- Approved refunds will be processed within 5–7 working days
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to process the refund
